Community Connecting - Social & Sporting Activities - Short Breaks - PA Support

We are a small team currently working across Northamptonshire. Ray the owner of Oarpel, is passionate and dedicated to helping vulnerable people to overcome adversity, realise their potential and embrace life. That's where the name comes from 'OARPEL'.

We do this with an amazing group of experienced support workers, providing person-centred support to individuals with a learning disability to achieve their personal goals and become engaged in their local community to develop socials skills and independence.

Why we exist

To help young people living with a disability live independently, build social skills and have access to freedom and choice.

What we do

We provide community connecting, short breaks, PA and holiday support to clients with varying needs from learning difficulties through to autism and more.

We run sporting and social groups along with an events & activities programme which gives individuals the opportunity to get involved in the planning, budgeting and organising of the fun things we do.

We have created much more than a day-to-day support service. Our buzzing community and support workers facilitate people to achieve things they never thought possible.
